About the Company
Constellation Brands began in 1945. At just 21 years old, founder Marvin Sands began selling wine in bulk with eight employees after purchasing Canadaigua Industries. In its first year, the company sold 200,000 gallons of wine and gross sales came in at $150,000. Just over 15 years later, the company grew sales to $8 million.
